Morning of the Wedding
Start off your wedding day with your nearest and dearest immersed in the rich tradition of Greek & Cypriot music on the violin and bouzouki in preparation for the wedding day ahead. Also known as the ‘Stolisma’ ceremony, the traditional Greek and Cypriot wedding music will fill the room with joy and excitement during the morning preparations, setting the tone for the rest of the day.
This unique experience blends the excitement of modern electric violin and bouzouki with the timeless beauty of traditional Greek and Cypriot music, creating unforgettable memories before the main celebration.
Violin and Bouzouki performances may also include favourite family songs, traditional Greek or Cypriot songs during the ‘Stolisma’, personalised violin covers of songs, and more, as you sing, dance and celebrate the morning of the wedding in your home, or hotel.
Wedding Ceremony
Pre-service music
Approximately 30 minutes of background music as your guests arrive at your wedding ceremony and wait for the bride to walk down the aisle
Traditional Bride and/or Groom Entrance to Ceremony
Enjoy the timeless sounds of the Bouzouki and Violin as the Groom and/or Bride are escorted to their wedding ceremony with their loved ones alongside the bouzouki and violin. Traditional music on the violin and bouzouki may include ‘Simera Gamos Ginete’ and other traditional Greek or Cypriot songs.
Bridesmaid’s entrance
This includes flower girls/page boys & bridesmaids entrances
Bride’s entrance
A romantic violin cover uniquely created for your bridal entrance
Signing of the register
A personalised cover of your favourite song(s) as you sign the marriage register
Recessional/Exit
An uplifting violin performance to conclude your wedding ceremony
Post-service music
Approximately 45 minutes of music as the bridal party are congratulated and as guests take photos with the newlyweds. This may also include music during canapés or as your guests enjoy refreshments following the ceremony. This can be extended as long as is needed to allow music to cover this whole segment of your wedding day.
Wedding Reception
Welcome Music
Violin and bouzouki music during congratulations, drinks and canapés as your guests arrive at your wedding reception. The timing of this can be tailored to best suit the duration of your congratulations.
Bride & Groom Grand Reception Entrance
Violin and bouzouki customised performance for the bride & groom’s grand entrance into the reception venue. This includes a special request for a violin/bouzouki cover of a song uniquely crafted for this moment and collaborations with any other live musicians or live bands hired to also perform during the entry.
Entrée and/or Dinner Performance Sets
A show stopping violin and bouzouki performance set of couple’s & guest’s favourite songs as main meals or buffet is served during wedding reception. This performance set is approximately 20 minutes in duration however can be extended or shortened to best suit the run schedule of the wedding reception.
The Wedding Cake & Champagne Toast
A personalised violin and bouzouki cover is performed while the bride & groom cut their celebratory wedding cake and as they pop and toast champagne with their guests.
First Dance/Bridal Waltz
A romantic violin and bouzouki serenade curated for the bride & groom as they enjoy their first dance as husband & wife.
Father Daughter Dance
Violin performance alongside chosen song for the father and daughter dance. Violin performances can also be incorporated for other dances that will take place throughout the evening, for example a mother son dance, mother daughter dance, father son dance or other choreographed dances from guests or the bridal party.
Violin, Bouzouki & DJ Party Sets
A high energy violin and bouzouki performance during the dance segments of your wedding reception, creating an electrifying dance floor energy and party atmosphere. Additional extras available including the option to add on Bongos or other live entertainment
Greek Dancing Sets
Elevate the Greek dancing segments of your evening by having live bouzouki and electric violin performances accompanying the DJ, or any other musicians while you and your guests dance to Greek music. Violin performances can be incorporated during Greek dances, including Zeibekiko, Kalamatiano, Nissiotika, Sirtaki, Sousta, Tsifteteli, Zorba dances and more.
